Our Story, From One Trailer in Richmond
MobileDumps was started in late 2018 by Cam Morrison in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia. Cam is an accomplished entrepreneur who identified an unmet need in the market, the gap between junk-removal companies and traditional roll-off dumpsters.
MobileDumps is a professional, timely, cost-effective dumpster service where residential and commercial customers can schedule the drop-offs and pickups and manage the "throwing away process" on their own time. Cam started with a couple of trailers in Richmond and was off and dumping.
In 2023, MobileDumps launched the franchise network and began bringing the mobile-trailer model to operators across the country, driveway-first design, flat pricing, and local ownership in every market we enter.

How long has MobileDumps been in business?
Since late 2018. We started with one trailer in Richmond, expanded to Norfolk and Raleigh, and now operate in 65+ cities through our franchise network.
What makes you different from a roll-off company?
Our 14-yard mobile trailer rolls on pneumatic tires, so there is no driveway damage, no curb scratches, and no permits required for private-property placements. We arrive on a pickup truck, not a heavy roll-off rig.
Do you load the dumpster for me?
No. Self-loading is part of what makes MobileDumps cost-effective. You take your time deciding what to keep or toss, without paid labor waiting on the clock.
Do you recycle?
Yes. We are a green company and recycle whatever we can, including metals, cardboard, yard debris, and more. Our full recycling list lives on our website.
