RiteAV's 14 AWG, 2 Conductor Black Direct Burial Speaker and is ideal for use with outdoor speakers, home theater and car audio along with low voltage landscape lighting in both residential and commercial settings. Composed of 105 Strands of Oxygen Free Bare Copper, the conductors provide superior conductivity and sonic accuracy. The versatility of the cable enables the user to terminate with banana plugs, spade connectors or pin connectors, when using it for audio. Due to the specialized jacket construction, the wire is flexible, yet durable and resistant to both sunlight and water, making it perfect for deck/patio and high-end audio installations. It's double insulated to provide additional protection from outdoor elements. The UV Resistant and sturdy construction offers a long service life and the water-blocking tape beneath the jacket helps to safeguard the conductors from damage and corrosion caused by water penetration. The jacket is sequentially marked at every two feet ensure less waste and the red and black insulated conductors are color-coded to assist with distinguishing polarity. The pliability of the jacket makes it easy to work with and its superior quality provides long-lasting results. Please note that the bulk wire will be shipped with blunt cuts on both ends. The pictures that display the exposed ends are for demonstration purposes only. The cable is also available with a white jacket in various pre-cut lengths if that better suits your needs and we also offer a 500' Pull Box in both black and white if you prefer to cut it to size yourself or just want to have excess cable on hand for future expansion.
